In late 2025, I actually contemplated not renewing rental tenancy of two storage units upon hearing of this business under the new management.
Out of my hands and in someone else’s was a first-time venture for me in trusting my Familia's legacy to a location other than my home and it was a big deal and yes, I was apprehensive. I needed to find the right place with the right associates.
So why did I ultimately stay? Wyatt is why. Although the business changed hands, Wyatt continued as customer service liaison, so I decided to continue my rental tenancy.
First time needing a storage facility during a move, and also in need of a mailing address mailbox rental, it felt right from the moment I walked into the office. I was welcomed by Wyatt with excellence in customer service which I came to later experience as ‘the norm’ as his highest standard of professionalism.
Yes, the monthly rental rates were competitive, yes, the storage units were well maintained as was the facility. Yes, I was very confident in the security and safe keeping of my possessions. Afterall, it was clear that what mattered to me, mattered to Wyatt, and Donna, the Manager. And that was exactly what I was looking for from those who were the gate keepers, sort to speak, of my possessions.
Turns out, SmartStop Storage is the right place with the right associates. Sincerely, thank you Wyatt and Donna.
By the way, if you happen to know of an excellent place to eat, pass it along to Donna, I’m still trying to find a place to recommend that we can both agree is great!

Best experience ever! It was so easy to sign on-line and book my space at 1/2 price with first month rent free, I got a 10 x 10 climatized space for less than the price of a 5x5 space at two other storage locations . When going into the office to confirm everything, Donna was the most friendly person to deal with! She has a great sense of humor, is very informative, easy to relate to, and I couldn't be more pleased that this place is the storage unit I chose 💯☺️

I won a storage unit through an auction at this facility and had a great experience from start to finish. The process was clear, well organized, and everything went smoothly.
I especially want to highlight Donna — she was incredibly helpful and professional. Donna explained all the rules clearly, answered all my questions, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Her attitude and customer service really stood out.
Overall, a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend this storage facility to anyone participating in storage auctions or looking for storage space.

Checked out other local storage solutions. Donna at the Sherwood Park location was friendly, informative, and answered all questions regarding my needs. I appreciate this level of customer service in this day and age! Will recommend

It was quick and easy. The manager walked me thru the lease was polite and helpful. Took me to look at unit gave me a run thru of access procedures and all done. Unit was clean and perfect size. Definitely recommend!
